We are looking for a commercially oriented leader for our global advisory services! Reports to: CEO, Point Carbon. The Managing Director will be part of Point Carbon’s management group.
Location: Oslo, London or Washington, DC
Position Objective: The Managing Director of Advisory will be responsible for developing and implementing Point Carbon’s advisory activities on a global basis, and further develop Point Carbon’s reputation as a leading advisory business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall global responsibility for the Advisory division with a focus on selling and delivering value based advisory services to existing and new clients
- Initiate, scope and deliver projects
- Business development
- Team management and development
- Contribute to defining company strategy and business area strategy
Critical success factors:
- Strategical thinking, coupled with a strong ability to deliver practical hands-on solutions to clients.
- Ability to build trust externally and internally
- Ability to manage and effectively lead highly competent employees across cultures
Knowledge and skills :
- 10 + years relevant experience from consultancy business
- 5+ years of experience from carbon market
- In depth knowledge of how carbon market works
- Strong leadership skills
- Development oriented
- Innovative and action oriented
- Relationship builder
- Structured and organised
- Experience from international business
- Working language is english
