This recruiter is a niche Planning and Sustainable Development Consultancy that has established a track record in for achieving commercially viable planning consents for complex projects. There is a team 12 people based in south Manchester comprising specialist planners, EIA practitioners, Sustainable Appraisal specialists and Development Consultants, drawn from a variety of academic and employment backgrounds. Staff are employed across projects applying their relevant skills where appropriate. As part of its growth plans for 2010 it has identified the need for an experienced commercially minded professional to join and drive its sustainable design offering with an aim to growing its numbers during the early part of the year. Candidates will need:
- In depth experience of buildings sustainability such as Breeam and Code for Sustainable Homes
- An understanding of or a desire to work in sustainable building design in readiness for future sustainable assessments
- Proven commercial track record in areas such as business development, regular client interface with technical delivery.
