Ducks Unlimited Canada (DUC), the leader in wetland conservation, is looking for a confident, energetic and dedicated Manager of Provincial Operations to lead our Saskatchewan conservation team of 30 staff. Located in Regina and reporting to the Director of Regional Operations, the MPO manages business and operational planning; pursuit of provincial wetland policy, conservation, communications and education programs; revenue generation, budget control of $12M program in Saskatchewan, human resource management and the development and cultivation of key relationships. The MPO is a strategic partner in the regional management team who leads the provincial operations team while building and fostering relationships within DUC and with key agencies and individuals in the public and private sectors. Working closely with the Managers of the event and development programs, the MPO will help reach our event fundraising and development goals. Your minimum eight years experience in conservation program delivery, revenue generation and working with partners along with a demonstrated ability to manage and motivate staff make you the ideal candidate for this position. Goal-oriented and self-motivated, you are able to see the bigger picture: how all business lines come together and how DUC’s mission is linked to society. You have a high degree of emotional intelligence, strong communication skills and a desire to continuously improve operations: you enjoy thinking outside of the box.
