Manager of Event Marketing - NHQ

POSITION:  Ducks Unlimited has an opening for a Manager of Event Marketing at the National Headquarters in Memphis Tennessee.  Position will start August 1, 2016.

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:  Manager of Event Marketing encompasses the oversight of event fundraising promotional activities including, but not limited to:  

• Creation and oversight of an event fundraising press release program
• Management of event fundraising promotional campaigns and advertising buys
• Management of internal performance recognition programs
• Designing and managing event fundraising promotional materials
• Primary contributor of event related articles to the DU Magazine
• Divisional liaison to web services team, communications staff and DUTV show 

QUALIFICATIONS:    Applicants must have a minimum of a four-year accredited degree to apply for this position with a Marketing, Advertising or Public Relations focus preferred. Candidates should have outstanding communication, writing and organizational skills; ability to persuasively convey the mission of DU and be proficient in standard computer programs. Extensive knowledge of waterfowl hunting, its heritage and regional traditions will benefit applicants as will knowledge of the DU event fundraising system.
