Overview

The Center for Clean Air Policy (CCAP) is searching for a dynamic Manager of Development and Communications to add to its team.  In this newly created position reporting to the Executive Vice President, the Manager of Development and Communications will be responsible for managing CCAP’s daily fundraising and communications efforts.

CCAP has been a recognized world leader in climate and air quality policy and is the only independent, nonprofit think tank working exclusively on those issues at the local, U.S. national and international levels. Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities of this position include planning and implementation of various fundraising strategies and an integrated communications plan that accounts for the interests of all of CCAP’s programs, stewardship of CCAP’s current portfolio of foundations, government and corporate donors, as well as aggressive execution of innovative strategies that will allow CCAP to cultivate new funding prospects. The Manager of Development and Communications will also lead external communications efforts. 
 
The Manager of Development and Communications will represent CCAP with a variety of constituencies and will enhance support for the organization among public sector funders, foundations, and corporations. Exploring an individual giving and major donor program and other sources of unrestricted funding will also be a strategic goal of this position.
