SunRun is looking for a talented and passionate Channel Marketer to become a key member of our newest group: Partner Love.

Our partners (solar installers and authorized selling agents) are the lifeblood of our business. Partner Love will be responsible for providing SunRun’s partner network with best-in-class services to ensure that SunRun and SunRun’s partners continue to lead the residential solar industry in America.

The Manager of Channel Marketing is a highly visible and critical element of Partner Love as the individual in this role will be responsible for designing and implementing all elements of a world-class channel marketing program. The successful candidate will possess the right balance of previous channel marketing experience with the passion and creativity required to create this function at SunRun. The position is full-time and based in our main office in downtown San Francisco.

What you will do:

  • You will have autonomy to design and implement a best-in-class channel marketing function at SunRun that may include some or all of the following: a partner portal, a joint-marketing program, a partner newsletter and webinar series, a partner segmentation program, sales contests, national partner conference, etc.
  • You will spend time in the field with our partners to understand their needs, translate those needs into actionable solutions, and then roll up your sleeves and make those solutions a reality
  • You will streamline all communication to the SunRun partner network to ensure we’re clearly communicating and there are fewer “surprises” from SunRun to our partners
  • You will foster a culture of mutual-respect and mutual-enthusiasm between SunRun and our partners
  • You will make partner satisfaction a key metric for SunRun and you will collect feedback from our partners about where we’re excelling and where we’re falling short of expectations
  • Most of all – you will help make being a SunRun partner fun!

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of channel marketing experience at a leading company (previous energy experience not required)
  • Demonstrated success in driving & executing a channel marketing strategy
  • The creativity to imagine what channel marketing at SunRun looks like and the passion and persistence to make it a reality
  • An understanding of a multi-channel sales model
  • Ability and desire to lead a team
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong working relationships inside and outside SunRun
  • Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, highly organized, very comfortable with data
  • Ability to meet multiple objectives in an entrepreneurial environment with minimal supervision
  • Prior experience working in a high-growth or startup company preferred
  • Comfort with a fast-paced, always-on, dynamic start-up environment
