The Waitaki Development Board is responsible for economic development and tourism in the Waitaki District. We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as manager of the Oamaru Blue Penguin Colony

The Oamaru Blue Penguin Colony hosts over 75,000 visitors per year and employs up to 15 staff. It is an iconic eco-tourism attraction and the largest conservation area for Blue Penguins in NZ.

We need a new manager to supervise operations.

To be successful in this role you will have:

* Proven experience in operations management
* Financial management capability
* Ability to lead a multi-tasking team in a shiftwork situation
* Strong customer-service, communication and HR skills
* A tertiary qualification, or similar
