Manager: Human Capital Development & Equity Groenkloof National Park Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Training & Development: • Coordinate all Skills Development Programmes. • Conduct training needs analysis. • Develop an annual training calendar. • Provide expert advice to both line management and employees in terms of skills development and other related matters. • Implement the Internship Programme. • Monitor the implementation of the workplace orientation programme and induction. • Administer the Study Bursaries for employees and children of employees. • Assist line management to source out service providers when necessary.
Employment Equity: • Represent Parks Division in the Employment Equity Committee. • Monitor and assist line management implement their Employment Equity Plans. • Assist line management to develop Employment Equity Plans for their respective parks. • Conduct an analysis of occupational categories, level of employees, their racial and gender representation. • Provide reports on movement in EE statistics per region and for Parks Division. • Generate a monthly Employment Equity report in the format prescribed by the Department of Labor.
Requirements: • Working knowledge of relevant pieces of legislation, i.e. Skills Development Act, Skills Development Levies Act, Employment Equity Act, South African Qualifications Authority Act, etc. • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management. • Be fully computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software packages such as Word, Excel, Access and Power Point. • Be in possession of a valid code 08 (B) drivers license.
