The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), the nation's largest animal advocacy organization, is seeking a Manager, Direct Response TV for the Direct Marketing department. The main responsibilities of this position will be day-to-day program coordination with the consultant, agency, back-end fulfillment vendor, telemarketing firms, and internal staff. Other duties include, but are not limited to: the development of tests and back-end packages; tracking and analysis of test results; follow-up communication plan for sustainer, one-time and prospects acquired; review of invoices for these programs; review all package components from copy to comps; monitor and track daily and weekly results for all aspects of the DRTV program, including telemarketing results, mail results, and online results to ensure goals are being met and to ensure that adequate inventory is available to meet all fulfillment needs; work with agency and back-end fulfillment vendor to ensure the fulfillment packages are processed on a daily basis and that all creative, inventory and logistical needs are met; review results of tests within the DRTV program and report on these test results to consultant, agency, and staff; recommend additional tests and other modifications to enhance program; manage follow-up communication plan to donors and prospects acquired, work in conjunction with other department staff, invoicing, package review and review of direct marketing invoices specific to DRTV program prior to final approval by director. College degree and at least three years in a direct marketing environment highly desired; DRTV experience a plus.
