The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority (GBRMPA) is seeking qualified candidates to lead and manage the development of coastal ecosystem management strategies that aim to maintain and enhance the long-term health of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. 

We are looking for an individual with a track record of policy development, project management, team leadership experience, and an extensive knowledge of coastal ecosystems and associated management control mechanisms, especially those relevant to the different responsibilities in Australia's coastal zone. An ability to engage with team members, government partners, industry and other external stakeholders is essential.

The GBRMPA is the principal advisor to the Australian Government on the control, care and development of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and has strong working relationships with other levels of government on matters that may affect the health of the Marine Park.
