Description
We are seeking a talented manager to look after this scenic island property consisting of Canna and its adjacent island of Sanday, located within the Small Isles of the Inner Hebrides.

As our local representative, you will play a vital part in building trust and confidence in our organisation and its objectives through sound management and delivery across a wide spectrum of activities. You can expect to be hands-on dealing with operational issues on the island, as well as researching and planning initiatives that help keep the Trust at the forefront of conservation, and a leader in visitor/heritage management.

To be successful in the role, you should possess
managerial skills in people, budgets and business
management and have excellent interpersonal and
communication skills, and experience of working
with external bodies and stakeholders.

In addition, you will have knowledge of, and interest in, the social and natural history of the West Highlands and Islands of Scotland and the conservation of collections. You are also able to work effectively within a team and able to live and work in a relatively remote rural environment.
