This award-winning Museum is a fully restored 19th Century lead mine which has established itself as a flagship attraction in the North Pennines and a leader in cultural youth engagement programmes in the north east.
The Museum provides the opportunity to experience the life and work of the lead mining families of the North Pennines.
As manager you would provide day to management of the Museum and contribute to the future development of the museum, cultural services and tourism across County Durham.
We are looking for an innovative manager, with experience in museum, heritage or visitor attraction management together with the ability to inspire, motivate and lead a team.
Qualifications: Degree or equivalent in appropriate discipline.
