The Office of Gas and Electricity Markets (Ofgem) is the regulator for Britain's gas and electricity industries. Our role is to protect consumers and enable them to secure value for money and benefit from reliable supplies.
A motivated individual, you will contribute to the design of the administrative framework for the Community Energy Saving Programme (CESP). This will include drafting the supplier guidance document, in accordance with legislation, and overseeing the development of the reporting templates. You will engage with the DECC on the development of the final policy proposals. Once the scheme has gone live, you will be expected to manage the ongoing administration of the CESP.
Key requirements " relevant academic qualifications and/or professional qualifications " IT literate, with proven expertise in the use of databases and spreadsheets " good communication and excellent planning and organisational skills " strong numerical skills and good attention to detail " an ability to interpret and understand legislation and implement policy " an understanding of the regulatory aspects of the gas and electricity industries
