Job Title: Major Gifts Officer
Reports to: Regional Vice President, Atlantic Canada
Location: Fredericton, New Brunswick

Overview

The Major Gifts Officer assumes a lead role in the coordination and delivery of fundraising activities to further the mission of the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) and to maximize private and publicly sourced donor revenue for the Provinces of New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. The incumbent plays a key role in increasing campaign, project and program revenues from individuals, foundations, corporations, and government, including U.S.-sourced funds; supports the Regional Vice President and Program Managers in the recruitment, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of $5K+ donors and authors and distributes materials in order to maximize revenues for AT projects and programs.

Reporting Relationships
The Major Gifts Officer reports to the Regional Vice President, Atlantic Canada and works closely with the Program Managers, is a member of the Atlantic Philanthropy team and the Atlantic Region staff team. The Major Gifts Officer acts cooperatively and in conjunction with NCC Philanthropy colleagues across the country, ensuring that development activities conform to "One Conservancy" standards.
