Major Donor Fundraiser (Hamburg, m/f)

FOUR PAWS has been working for the well-being and protection of animals since 1988. Originally founded in Austria FOUR PAWS started working internationally in 1994. Their EU wide presence allows them to campaign and lobby more effectively, improving the lives of animals all over the world. FOUR PAWS is searching for a positive thinking Major Donor Fundraiser with great affinity to animal welfare.

Fundraiser (m/f)

Fulltime, Location: Hamburg

Your Tasks:

  • Develop and implement new income streams from Major Donors
  • Identify, cultivate and service private Individuals, Foundations and Corporates
  • Communicate the organizations work to partners and donors and solicite major gifts
  • Integrate with the international Fundraising Team
  • Work with project and campaign staff to secure funding and ensure reporting
  • Engaging with existing donors to maximise retention and increase income

Your Profil:

  • Degree in Fundraising and/or relevant professional qualification
  • 3 - 5 years experience in the field of Fundraising with a strong emphasis on Major Donor Fundraising
  • Ability to work independently, results-oriented and innovative
  • Social competence combined with competitive intelligence
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German (written and oral)
  • Great affinity to animal welfare and FOUR PAWS issues and values
  • Highly motivated, open-minded and balanced-driven personality
