This is a local recruitment. Only Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand or Vietnam nationals are eligible to apply. The remuneration and benefits package for this position is established with reference to the local labour market and in line with the IUCN conditions of service in the respective duty station.

Duty station assignment will be in one of IUCN's country offices in Indo-Burma region.

BACKGROUND OF THE POSITION
Launched in 2016, the Lower Mekong Network (LMN) brings together local and international civil society organisations, their funders and intermediary organizations working on ecosystem conservation, land rights, sustainable livelihoods and related issues in the Lower Mekong Region.

The purpose of LMN is to provide a platform on which to: build common understanding; to learn, share, and discuss strategies; and to pursue common purposes and address lessons learned and common challenges. The aim is to ensure that each individual organisation’s position is strengthened, aiding members to achieve their goals in the Lower Mekong region.

LMN is a closed network. New members are added through a clearly defined nomination process involving existing members and the membership list is kept confidential; this is done to protect the safety and security of each LMN participant. There are currently 54 members, with the following geographic representation:
