Long Term Volunteer Ranger

Responsible to: Countryside Officer, Berry Head.
Working hours: 37/week to include weekends and bank holidays on a rota.

Duration of placement: 9 months, from May 2012

Location: Berry Head National Nature Reserve, Brixham.

Torbay Coast and Countryside Trust are looking for three enthusiastic and dedicated Long Term Volunteers to assist with the day to day running of this busy and nationally important site. LTVs will gain experience of practical nature conservation, access, habitat enhancement, and environmental education. LTVs will have the opportunity to undertake vocational qualifications, such as Brushcutter/First Aid/etc., depending on individual needs, and may also have the opportunity to undertake a Level 2 work-based diploma in environmental conservation.
