USGBC has an opportunity for a practical learning experience for a currently-enrolled undergraduate or graduate student with a background in communications, journalism, or media production and an interest in applying those skills to education and case study development. The LEED Stories internship is an un-paid, creditable internship involving a minimum of 10 hours per week with the option of additional hours. The LEED Stories intern will support USGBC’s new LEED Stories from Practice initiative by conducting stakeholder interviews, editing content, and developing multimedia resources. Through this internship, the intern will gain experience in interviewing, writing, editing, and multimedia development; have broad exposure to green building stakeholders; and gain advanced knowledge about green building and LEED. A motivated, creative, and innovative candidate will offer ideas and strategies to help shape this fledgling program. The intern must be professional, enjoy working as a team, feel comfortable working with a diverse range of people, and be available to work in USGBC’s Washington, D.C. office.
