SANBI requires a highly committed, self motivated person to contribute to improved management of SA’s biodiversity through coordinating and supporting the implementation of a learning network in SANBI’s northern bioregional programmes and at a national level. This will involve capturing and disseminating learning achieved through these programmes, and establishing sustainable mechanisms to do this.
The envisaged candidate will hold a tertiary qualification in environmental management, development studies, public administration, communication or similar. The qualification should be enhanced by 2 – 5 years relevant working experience as well as project management skills and a supporting portfolio of achievements. The successful candidates must further be equipped with excellent writing, creative thinking and organizational skills, the ability to take initiative and work in a team, as well as proficiency on MS Office.
