Description

The Laos Programme is centred on the Tat Kuang Si Bear Rescue Centre where development of staff
capacity, volunteer programme, education programme and animal husbandry training will take place.
With the emergence of commercial bile farming in Laos the need for space for rescued bears is
paramount, as is support for the government efforts to monitor the existing farms to prevent bile
farming from becoming established in the country. With responsibility for the management of
existing programmes and also for the development of further aspects, this position requires a
motivated, well-organised individual capable of decision making and working to deadlines.
