Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) is looking to recruit a Landscape Partnership Development Officer to lead our Stage 2 Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) Landscape Partnership bid. LIVE · WORK · DEVELOP If you have a love of landscapes, history, archaeology and wildlife and are passionate about helping the public get more involved in championing and caring for special places this is an excellent opportunity. About the role You will be supported by the AONB team, will work closely with the Landscape Partnership Board and other partners to develop a detailed 5 year programme of work, liaise with consultants preparing the variety of strategies required, secure considerable match funding and prepare the documentation for the submission of the Stage 2 bid to HLF worth £1.7m. The Landscape Partnership Scheme will offer a broad range of activities that will encourage people to conserve, enhance, understand and learn about their unique heritage. About you We are looking for an experienced Development/Project Officer, with a strong track record of developing large, complex projects, an in-depth understanding of landscape issues and experience of fundraising. You must have strong relationship development and negotiation skills and a proven ability to complete tasks on budget and on time. You will hold a degree level qualification or equivalent in a relevant subject are with previous experience of project management and the proven ability to work to project and financial deadlines. The post is based in Wimborne, Dorset.
