About you:

•A full current driving licence is essential

•Demonstrable track record in the areas of countryside management, greenspace development or delivery of green infrastructure

About us:

Established in 1975, Hertfordshire’s Countryside Management Service (CMS) was one of the first initiatives of its type in the UK. Our current project portfolio includes a considerable range of work across a number of key sites and habitats including: woodland management at a range of scales, heathland restoration in Hertfordshire’s only NNR, chalk river restoration and developing old railway lines as non-motorised transport routes.

Responsibilities include:

•Providing a professional land management advisory service to our partners

•Writing management plans for Green Flag Award winning greenspaces

•Securing funds from external providers

•Producing specifications, procuring works and managing delivery through contractors
