Exciting Opportunity with ADAS UK Ltd
Land and Forestry Management Consultant

Permanent Appointment based at Boxworth, Cambridge.
Salary in range £28,906 - £32,118

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to manage the estates of one of our major clients. You will be responsible for devising and implementing work programmes to achieve their objectives of business, biodiversity, amenity and landscape on their substantial forestry, agricultural and natural habitat assets. Client liaison and consulting with and managing a very diverse range of stakeholders and interests are a key part of the job.
 

Our Requirements
You will have: 
• At least 4 years’ experience in a practical position for an agricultural, forestry, land owning or conservation organisation or consultancy
• A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject, e.g. Forestry, Land or Estate Management, Agriculture, Conservation Management or Natural Sciences
• Experience of managing and implementing practical land management, including supervising contractors 
• Experience of consulting with and working with stakeholders
• Good generalist knowledge of ecology, habitat management, practical conservation, forestry and agriculture
• Good working knowledge of species/habitat protection legislation affecting land management works
• Experience of sales and account development 
• Good report writing, time and project management skills
• Numerate and proficient in the use of MS Word and Excel and in the use of email and the internet
• Current full driving licence
• Membership of an appropriate professional body eg RICS, ICF, would be an advantage
