Details:

The New Zealand Aid Programme, acting for and on behalf of the Secretary of Foreign Affairs (MFAT), are inviting submissions from suitably qualified and experienced individuals acting as a sole trader or from an organisation to assist the Government of Kiribati in the provision of technical assistance to support the sustainable development and management of coastal fisheries, in line with Kiribati's National Fisheries Policy 2012 - 2025 (KNFP).

The overarching goals that MFAT are seeking from the technical assistance are to:

 - Promote sustainable management and development of maritime resources to maximise economic benefits and sustain livelihoods in Kiribati
 - Support community and private sector led fisheries development initiatives to provide for better economic benefits, improve livelihoods and food security
 - Provide the sustainability within Kiribati for coastal fisheries
