Key Cusomer Manager - Project Manager CDM / JI Projects

Major Duties

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• responsible for developing the relationship between specific Key Customers located in the Benelux, UK & Ireland region and DNV Climate Change Services;
  
• responsible for coordinating DNV efforts worldwide for continuously increasing business with specific Key Customers;
  
• executing and managing CDM/JI validation and verification assignments;
  
• executing and managing verification under voluntary schemes;
  
• participate in local marketing and sales activities and support the global organization on such activities.

Qualifications

• expansive technical and scientific background on a masters level, such as mechanical or civil engineering;
  
• relevant experience as (Key) Customer Manager;
  
• 4 years or more of working experience climate change related work, such as technical positions within renewable energy (hydro and wind), process industries (HFC, N2O, cement, energy efficiency), oil and gas - or equivalent;
  
• excellent English language and writing skills;
  
• ability to work under pressure and with simultaneous tasks;
  
• willingness to travel abroad for short assignments (approx. 20% of the time);
  
• team - oriented, quick learner, generous in knowledge -sharing & experience and committed to further developing DNV’s profile & visibility within the global climate change markets;
  
• candidates must be Dutch or Belgian residents. Should this not be the case, please refrain from applying;

Advantages, but not pre-requisities:

• a native Dutch or French -speaking background;
  
• a background in auditing, CSR verification, Corporate Inventory Verification, CDM, JI and emissions trading verification.
