Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in wildlife biology or closely related field.
- Must have excellent knowledge of California fauna, and have at least 1 year of field experience conducting surveys or research on California species.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Master's Degree in wildlife biology or closely related field.
- We are very interested in candidates with solid avian experience, but will consider experience in other technical specialty areas such as invertebrates, amphibians/retiles, or small mammals.
- Experience with species located in the San Joaquin valley.
- Experience writing biological assessments, EIS/EIR sections.
Professional Skills:
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
