Description

Essential Qualification

Masters Degree in Wildlife Biology/Wildlife Science/Zoology/Environmental Science/ Forestry/Forest Management/Life Science with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University.

Desirable Qualification

Experience in herbivore and carnivore population estimation, radio tracking, GIS & Remote Sensing. Knowledge of area and local language.

Description of Work

The project aims to study ranging, movement pattern, habitat use, food habits, estimation of prey species, study human-animal conflict and suggest detailed management guidelines for conservation in and around Dachigam National Park, Srinagar, Kashmir.
