EnerNOC has an immediate need for a Junior Project Manager. This position will play a vital role in leading project teams responsible for building and maintaining EnerNOC’s state-of-the-art technology suite. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, agile environment where you can develop and hone your skills and position yourself to grow into an engineering leadership role.
Essential Functions:
- Oversees the day-to-day process of software development activities
- Conduct cross functional status meetings, identifying any issues to bring to resolution
- Assist senior project managers in project planning and tracking activities
- Develop and track metrics and measurements to communicate progress, team performance and status
- Motivate team members to meet personal and project goals to complete delivery of functionality
Performance Measurement
- Delivery of tasks and projects on schedule
- Effectiveness of metrics and status communications
- Timely and effective issue resolution
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Bachelors degree
- 1-2 years of technical, business analysis or project management experience in the software industry
- Familiarity with agile software development
- Strong project organizational, prioritization and project management skills
- Ability to develop and monitor plans and schedules to identify and meet critical milestones
- Ability to manage multiple projects or tasks with competing priorities
- Ability to work in a fast paced exciting environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Scrum Master Certification a plus
