Job Title: Junior Project Manager - Boston, MA

EnerNOC has an immediate need for a Junior Project Manager.  This position will play a vital role in leading project teams responsible for building and maintaining EnerNOC’s state-of-the-art technology suite.  This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, agile environment where you can develop and hone your skills and position yourself to grow into an engineering leadership role.

Essential Functions:

  • Oversees the day-to-day process of software development activities
  • Conduct cross functional status meetings, identifying any issues to bring to resolution
  • Assist senior project managers in project planning and tracking activities
  • Develop and track metrics and measurements to communicate progress, team performance and status
  • Motivate team members to meet personal and project goals to complete delivery of functionality

Performance Measurement

 

  • Delivery of tasks and projects on schedule
  • Effectiveness of metrics and status communications
  • Timely and effective issue resolution

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

 

  • Bachelors degree
  • 1-2 years of technical, business analysis or project management experience in the software industry
  • Familiarity with agile software development
  • Strong project organizational, prioritization and project management skills
  • Ability to develop and monitor plans and schedules to identify and meet critical milestones
  • Ability to manage multiple projects or tasks with competing priorities
  • Ability to work in a fast paced exciting environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Scrum Master Certification a plus
