Junior Environmental and Social Consultant

Alvus ESG Consulting is a newly created ESG Consultancy firm headquartered in Dubai, UAE. The Company has an established client base and it will support projects and companies to comply with their environmental and social obligations through the preparation of Environmental and Social Impact Assessments, Management Systems and Plans, audits and other services related to sustainability, and by setting up governance structures to streamline, validate and report on compliance.

We are looking to recruit our initial team of enthusiastic environmental and social consultants and junior consultants to take a central role in the Company´s development and growth.

The position requires a strong capacity to learn quickly, work independently and to a high-quality standard, liaise with clients and subcontractors, do desk research and write reports, undertake site surveys, audits and inspections, and lead stakeholder engagement meetings. The successful candidate will be required to travel to the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

We are looking for candidates with an Environmental or Social Sciences degree, full professional proficiency in English (C2 or several years of work or studies in English are a must) and a strong team player willing to engage to make this new company succeed. Full professional proficiency in French will be valuable.

We offer the possibility to participate in a range of exciting international projects, work alongside experienced E&S consultants, participate in all aspects of Company set up and growth, and quickly develop into project management and business development roles for those showing the necessary skill.
