We are looking to recruit a motivated and ambitious Ecologist with key skills in Ornithology to join our ecological team, in this exciting role you will: - Lead survey work including those of protected species - Undertake ecological/ornithological surveys and prepare various kind of assessment reports - Prepare management plans, method statements, mitigation and enhancement strategies - Action applications for protected species license - Provide ecological/ornithological advice to clients You: As the successful candidate you will:
- Hold a degree in ecology or a related discipline - Have between 2-3 years experience of ecological work - Have membership to IEEM - Understand ornithological field investigations and have a broad knowledge of all protected species issues - Have ornithological field skills, both for visual and auditory species recognition - Hold at least one Natural England protected species license
