(Junior) Consultant Offshore Wind

As a Junior Consultant for Offshore Wind, you will work on providing services related to the technical and economical aspects of offshore wind developments to companies, government entities, and NGO's. You will directly support the Chief Representative and our international offshore wind experts in developing solutions that fit the Chinese market, incl. preparing presentations and reports in English and Chinese. Building on the expertise of our international team, you will use your knowledge of the Chinese sustainable energy (especially offshore wind) landscape to research current developments, and participate in consultancy projects in teams of international experts. In a small office, you will also take over administrative and logistical tasks and provide translation and data gathering support as required. Depending on your qualifications and conditions of hiring, you may have the opportunity to be sent to our European head office for 2 months to strengthen your offshore wind knowledge and work on China related projects.

Your profile
If you are enthusiastic about the job described above and you meet the following criteria, then we would be happy to meet you!
• University graduate with a technical degree related to renewable in general and wind power generation in specific;
• Preferably one to two years of relevant working experience e.g. in wind farm design and management and/or wind turbine technology;
• Insight in current developments in the wind sector (preferably offshore wind) in China;
• Strong analytic ability in carrying out research work;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to work in both Chinese and English, with Chinese as mother tongue;
• Willing to travel, within China and possibly to Europe.
