Junior Consultant, Buildings Sustainability

An established consultancy division of a well known developer is keen to expand its team in Hertfordshire with the recruitment of possibly two more consultants. The main tasks within the role are: Provide and deliver BREEAM Service, Provide BREEAM consultancy, Assist in POE consultancy, Assist in audit of 10 point plan criteria, Assist in CPD development.
Supporting Priorities
- Provide a support role for Sustainable Development workshops
- Provide a support role for the other Consultants in LCO support as and when required
- Raise awareness of existing measurement tools e.g. BREEAM, EPC etc.
- Ensure that effective management systems and controls are developed, implemented, reviewed and continuously improved
- Produce accurate reports
- Communicate the involvement of individuals/teams to other areas of the business
- Be accessible and visible across the division, providing a central source of knowledge/awareness
- Manage priorities and maintain flexibility to undertake short term priorities
- Supporting other members of the team
- Time management and recording
You will need to be an approachable free thinking individual with good communication skills. In addition you will need an appropriate BSc along with the Breeam Assessor qualification (or possibly CfSH or Ecohomes) gained within either a consultancy or construction operation. Good understanding of IT is important as is the ability to travel when required.
