Junior Climate Change Consultant

They are currently looking to recruit a junior trainee consultant to advise clients…My client is a management consultancy with offices across the East Coast. They are currently looking to recruit a junior trainee consultant to advise clients on climate change policy and the surrounding issues. This role is in high demand so only applications from candidates with the relevant educational requirements will be accepted - see below for details.

Responsibilities:

- Putting together reports on trends in cost of climate change

- Educating clients on the impact of climate change

- Working on various projects to provide services in the climate change sector to clients, such as reviewing CDM (clean development mechanism) or JI (joint implementation) projects, GHG (greenhouse gas) reporting and data analysis

- Supporting the carbon risk management advisory team when necessary

Skills/qualifications required:

- Candidates must have an MSC in environmental science, carbon management or equivalent level Master`s degree in an environmental subject

- Able to live/work in the US

- Strong team player

- Excellent attention to detail

- Strong IT skills would be an advantage, particularly Excel
