Junior Analyst

Junior Analysts or graduate interns will assist SR Inc’s full-time team in developing written Executive Guidance and Tools to help busy Member Executives – who are regularly not sustainability specialists – understand the opportunities and challenges associated with the move to more sustainable high-performance in real estate and corporate operations.  Specifically, Juinor Analysts will assist SR Inc Research & Consutling team in developing actionable, case based, management best practices research featuring Member-client companies’s best practices and Sponsor’s Thought Leadership.  This Executive Guidance and Tools will include case based Member Briefings in PPT, Executive Summary and Full Report form as well as focsued Scorecards, DashBoards, Project Calendars and solution comparison Quadrant Charts.

Junior Analysts will be expected to manage their own schedule and to meet or over-perform on all time and cost budgets they propose.  Junior Analysts will begin as contractors (as have virtually all SR Inc employees) and will be paid comensurate with experience.  Junior Analysts without relevant advanced degrees and directly relevant professional experience, will begin at no more than $24/hr and should not necessarily expect more than 30 hrs. a week in the first half of 2015.  Junior Analysts who cannot participate in weekly in-person project management meetings in Cambridge MA beginning in February will not be considered.  Potential Analysts with relvant advanced degrees and excellent relevant work experience who are available for long-term, part-time, work are of special interest but can expect to begin at no more than $50/hr and their ability to participate in weekly project management meetings in Camrbridge MA is strongly preferred.

Desired Skills and Experience

  2. Sustainability related course work and/or internships and employment expected
  3. Experience with business management practices research and tools preferred
  4. Demonstrated ability to write efficiently and effectively required
  5. Ability to work independently under time constraints required
  6. Demonstrated ability to work on fast paced teams required
  7. Ability to regularly underpromise and overdeliver to help the SR Inc team do just that – required
