Term: Permanent, part-time (50%).

TFT is seeking an experienced and motivated professional, keen to secure a career within a dynamic nonprofit that builds partnerships to bring responsible products to market. The successful candidate will have experience in administration and office support and will be well organized and autonomous.  

The position is part time (50%) based in TFT’s Crassier Switzerland office.  

Responsible to:  The Business Development Director 

General Purpose

Perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the Director and the Project Management team to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization.

 Key Roles and Responsibilities

The Junior Administrative Assistant (JAA) will be responsible for supporting the Director and the Project Management team in their daily work including: 

  1. Screen telephone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate;
    1. Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mailing and filing;
    2. Set up and coordinate meetings and conferences when necessary;
  2. Compile expenses and monthly timesheet;
    1. Organize and coordinate travel and accommodation;
    2. Handle requests for information and data;
    3. Order office supplies;
    4. Resolve administrative problems and inquiries;
    5. Other administrative duties as assigned.

 Education, Qualifications, Skills, Experience

Required:

-       English mother tongue and fluent French required(other additional languages an advantage);
-       University degree or equivalent in business or office administration;
-       Excellent administrative and organisational skills;
-       A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar capacity;
-       Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required;
-       Able to work within a multidisciplinary and multicultural team;
-       Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills;
-       Able to work flexible hours as required; 
-       Able to handle multiple tasks and work autonomously;
-       Self-confident and efficient;
-       Flexible, show initiative and a positive attitude;

-       Only candidates with Swiss/European nationality or valid Swiss work permit will be considered.

Preferred:

-       Experience working in an international environment, international organisation, NGO and/or private sector;
-       Good understanding and interest in environmental and social responsibility issues;
