Responsibilities and Tasks
This position is responsible for supporting the wind and site engineering effort within the department. Responsibilities include parts of the site review process as well as general technical support to Business Development Managers, Project Managers, Customers and Vendors.

- Support Wind and Site colleagues in engineering, sales and project processes involving technical and commercial responses to internal and external customers and vendors.
- Maintain general knowledge on technical aspects of wind turbine design, installation, operation and maintenance.
- Perform wind and site analyses, including determination of wind resource and site characteristics.
- Develop wind turbine site layouts and select turbine configurations based on conformance with standards, power production, construction and cost.
Qualifications and Work Experience
- Requires minimum bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably within Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Requires excellent analytical and methodical skills.
- Requires demonstrated knowledge and skill in working with computers, software applications and file handling.
- Requires good oral and written communication skills.
- Requires ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to travel up to 25% based on customer needs and overall company objectives.
- Knowledge and skill in working with industry specific software applications, including WAsP and WindPRO desired.
- Working experience within the wind energy industry desired.
