Description

The Invasive Species Team Leader will lead a two to three person team treating non-native invasive species.  This may include one or more of the following functions:

  • Leads work teams and supervises staff
  • Furthers the Conservancy’s strategic goals
  • Recognizes invasive plant species targeted for treatment
  • Safely handles, mixes and applies herbicides; including the use of appropriate personal protection equipment
  • Removes NNIS and/or performs NNIS monitoring
  • Maintains tools and equipment
  • Maintains a log of NNIS treated, herbicide used, area treated, etc.
