Description

Endangered Species International (ESI) is seeking an individual to create a comprehensive document on all tarsier species (Tarsius species). The document should include up to date scientific and conservation information. The document should incorporate but not limited to differentiation between species and sub-species, natural history, distribution, threats, conservation, human and tarsier, maps, tables, and graphs as needed. The document will serve as the core of our educational program on tarsier in the Philippines and will be added to ESI website. 

The applicant is encouraged to work from home and be independent with little supervision. He/she should have internet access or university library for research and frequent e-mail correspondence with ESI.  The length of this internship is about one month and half with an average of 20 hrs a week.

This internship is ideal to complete a course requirement or to put a first foot into conservation. Depending on skills and experience (previous wildlife surveys and statistics), this position may led to field surveys on tarsier.  Must have good writting skills.
