Particular emphasis will be placed on air quality within cities, secondary pollutants, and near-road exposures. The intern will become familiar with the latest research in this field, identify potential modeling tools, and apply them to policy-relevant questions regarding emissions from passenger cars, heavy-duty trucks, international shipping, and aviation. Tasks will include:

Qualifications required

  • Bachelor's degree and progress towards a graduate degree in a technical discipline, such as environmental science, public health, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, physics or similar, or evidence of very strong performance in degree studies to date.
