The International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT) is offering a paid internship opportunity located in our Washington, DC office to support our finance and accounting team. This position will report directly to the Accounting Manager. This is an ideal opportunity for current undergraduate students pursuing their degree in accounting who want to learn about non-profit accounting. This position will teach the intern skills needed to run the finances of an organization. In the role you will gain exposure to basic accounting processes including: accounts receivable/accounts payable, payroll, grant accounting and internal auditing. You will learn how to efficiently operate QuickBooks accounting software and conduct internal financial reporting. Qualifications desiredThe ideal candidate will be a current undergraduate student in their Junior or Senior year of their accounting degree. The position requires a willingness to learn, strong written and verbal communications skills, as well as strong Excel and Word skills. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, self-directed, and creative. Previous Quickbooks experience is a plus. Position details:
