At Forum we aim to create change by transforming organisations and the systems they work in. We run a unique Masters Course in Leadership for Sustainable Development.

Internship Summary
We're looking for an organised and enthusiastic intern for our small but busy Masters team. You should be able to demonstrate good communication and digital skills and have an interest in sustainable development.

The role involves looking after our learning resources, some administrative work and carrying out research to assist with course development.  

Tasks may include:

  • Managing the Scholar library and learning resources
  • Managing and creating photo images for the image library
  • Recommending improvements to the masters website
  • Compiling and summarising student feedback on seminars
  • Updating database records
  • Assisting with social media platforms

You will build up knowledge and experience in sustainable development through the planned work as well as have opportunities to attend some expert led seminars and weekly learning slots run by Forum. You would have access to Forum for the Future resources and expertise. The role will help develop web/social media, administrative and research skills.

Person Specification
The successful candidate is likely to have:

  • Excellent communication skills in written English
  • An interest in sustainable development and Forum’s work
  • Good ICT skills and experience of packages such as Microsoft Office
  • Interest / knowledge of social media
  • A confident approach
  • Well organised, able to prioritise work, meet deadlines and have good attention to detail
  • Discreet and able to maintain confidentiality
  • Self-motivated
  • Able to work in a team environment and respond to instructions
  • Desirable:  Confident photographer

The time commitment is between two and three days a week for three months.  Lunch expenses up to £5 a day and travel costs from within London (zones 1-6) will be reimbursed.
