The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) located at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Golden, Colorado is the nation’s primary laboratory for research, development and deployment of renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies. The Center for Photovoltaics is looking for an ambitious student to perform wafer polishing and solar cell cross-sectioning.
-Perform day to day research work.
-Self motivated and takes direction well.
-Able to work independently and in a group setting.
Must be enrolled as a full-time student.

Graduate students enrolled in a minimum of nine credit hours.

Undergraduate students enrolled in a minimum of twelve credit hours.

Minimum of a 3.0 cumulative grade point average.

Must be a United States citizen or permanent resident.
A student pursuing an undergraduate degree in Environmental Science or related degree. The student should be able to work up to 40 hours during the summer.
Prefer a student in their second or third year of school.
