International Implementation Support Manager, New Delhi, India

My client is a global organisation which enables and facilitates the development of CDM, renewable energy and energy efficiency projects in the effort to offset carbon emissions. They are currently looking for an experienced business development manager to manage their expansion efforts in Bangkok.

Position Overview:

My client is currently looking for an International Implementation Support Manager to work from their New Delhi Office. This candidate will be responsible for providing support and advice to global CDM teams on monitoring plans and protocols for registered CDM and or VCS projects. This is a key hire for my client and as such, they are looking for an experienced candidate with an extensive and proven track record in the CDM space.

Responsibilities:

• ·         Conduct due diligence and quality assurance on my clients global project portfolio
• ·         Advise the global CDM teams on monitoring plans and protocols for registered CDM and or VCS projects
• ·         Travel to other offices to advise global implementation teams
• ·         Assist the business development team in the identification and assessment of potential projects
• ·         Assist the COO in verifying commercial agreements with clients
• ·         Ensure the quality of projects in this region

Core Requirements:

• ·         University degree in engineering, environmental science or related fields
• ·         3-5 years experience in developing CDM and CDM Goldstandard projects
• ·         Must have an extensive knowledge of the CDM cycle from origination to registration
• ·         Must be able to produce a project list of 10+ projects that you have taken through to registration
• ·         Will be fluent in English, additional languages are preferable

General Requirements:

• ·         Ability to manage own work effectively, to prioritize tasks and great attention to details
• ·         Willingness to travel widely in India with occasional international travel
• ·         Excellent intercultural, communication skills, team player
• ·         Knowledge of the Kyoto Protocol
