National Wildlife Federation is looking for a highly motivated individual to fill a full-time, paid internship to support its International Climate and Energy (ICE) team. ICE promotes reduction of greenhouse gas emissions through the sustainable production and use of biofuels and biomaterials, and market-based initiatives that address large-scale commodity agriculture as a driver of tropical deforestation. This is a fast-paced, demanding internship that requires dealing with many interlinked activities, often across different time zones, and grasping complex issues subject to rapid change. The ICE intern will undertake a number of research, advocacy and administrative tasks in support of the Senior Adviser and the international team, and may be expected to represent the program under a variety of circumstances. Therefore, excellent interpersonal and communications skills are a definite plus. REQUIREMENTS:
This position offers $10.50/hour plus core benefits. Must be available to work a minimum of 24 (maximum of 48) weeks at 40 hours per week.
