POSITION SUMMRY:

Our interns are provided the opportunity to make meaningful and measurable contributions to our business during the summer. The intern in the Sustainability and St. Louis Petlover Coalition departments at NPPC will be assigned three projects ' one analytical, one creative and one strategic.

Performance Feedback: The NPPC internship focuses on providing one summer intern the most valuable, hands-on experience possible. Supervisor, company team members and community associates provide our interns with constructive feedback and guidance regarding performance, progress, and organizational information. In addition, formal performance evaluations take place at the conclusion of the internship with on-going feedback as needed in the process.

This position is not part of the MBA summer intern program in the Brand Management area that includes senior brand management leaders. This position does not include relocation or housing expenses.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Nestle Purina interns contribute as full members of their assigned teams, with responsibilities in the areas of:
* Community Assessments & Competitive Analyses
* Communications of Creating Shared Value messages
* Data Assessment
* Review of Purina brand and key brand teams' work in cause related marketing and Creating Shared Value
* Evaluation of Nestle Purina competencies to advance the Purina brand in the community regarding sustainability.
* High Impact projects that involve both Nestlé Purina as well as community partners and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Will attend lunch and learns with other brand management interns on campus and other learning experiences that are determined beneficial to the assignment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum):

EDUCATION:
Must be a 1st year MBA student.

EXPERIENCE (Years/Type):
1 year or more of Marketing or communications experience.
