The International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT) has an immediate opening for an internship position in the San Francisco, CA. This position will involve further completing and updating an overview of emissions and fuel policies for the transportation sector around the world. This position will work directly with staff throughout the ICCT and will also interact with a number of partner organizations and government agencies around the world.
Tasks will include:
Investigating current and proposed emissions and fuels standards and other policies for the transportation sector from countries around the world.
Writing concise overviews of those policies for use on the website and other materials and keeping a library of complete regulatory documents.
Developing graphics that compare standards in different parts of the world.
Qualifications
Excellent research and writing skills required
Familiarity and interest in mobile sources emission control policy
Proficient Excel and Word use
Fluency in additional languages preferred
Position details
The intern may choose to work full- or part-time, with a minimum of 10 hours/week. The internship will be paid; salary will be commensurate with experience. The intern may choose to work remotely but must be willing to come into the San Francisco office roughly once every two weeks. The office location is downtown San Francisco near the Montgomery Bart station.
