Intern, Investor CDP

The Investor CDP team is responsible for managing relationships with CDP’s investor signatories and members and is seeking an intern to assist with all aspects of our work. The successful candidate will work closely with Investor CDP’s Senior Manager and will be based in our London office.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the business impacts of climate change and water, and hands-on experience in a dynamic team. The intern will be responsible for a variety of work including:

• Supporting our engagement work with investors
• Supporting the writing of CDP’s 2011 Global 500 report
• Contributing ideas to refresh CDP’s Investor strategy

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• an academic background in Business, Finance or Financial Economics
• a good understanding of climate change, sustainability and/or socially responsible investment
• strong IT experience, including fluency in excel and power point and the ability to learn new systems quickly
• excellent attention to detail and a record of accuracy
• self-motivation and an ability to work effectively under pressure
• excellent customer support skills
