Conservation International's Marketing + Communications Division is seeking an part-time intern to support our Internal + Field Communications team.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist Sr. Director in coordinating bi-weekly editions of CI’s internal eNewsletter, including assembly of content and graphics, proofreading, some writing and other editorial support.

Research and propose ways to tap existing information sources to improve content of eNewsletter and Intranet content.

Assist in logistics and scheduling of Synergy presentations, weekly presentations given by staff on topics of institutional interest.

Complete other internal communications tasks as assigned to include, but not limited to: copyediting/proofreading, writing, and administrative support tasks.
- Provide other program support where needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- Must be current undergraudate or graduate student pursuing degree in communications, journalism, and/or event planning
- Strong English written and oral communication skills. Secondary language skills in Spanish, Portuguese, or French is a plus.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and stay organized
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to think strategically.
- Computer literacy at a high level
Working Conditions:
- This position is a part-time, short term internship located in CI-Headquarters in Arlington, VA
- Normal office environment
