Intern Bioenergy (f/m)

The bioenergy unit is assessing the effects of biofuels on indirect land use changes (ILUC) and has developed a methodology for ILUC mitigation on project level. As an intern you will contribute in further developing this methodology and support on practical implementation. The internship will be from October 2013 to March 2014 at 40h per week at the Ecofys office in Berlin. There is a possibility for following employment.

• Thorough understanding of biofuels and sustainability
• Ideally, knowledge about indirect land use change (ILUC)
• Experience in working in teams
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010
• Experience in translating from German to English knowledge of international/national climate policy issues,      especially mitigation related policy
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent knowledge and command of both English and German; verbally and in writing
• Good writing skills; knows how to structure and write reports
• Study in fields related to bioenergy and sustainability
