Duties Include:
·Perform routine aspects of environmental scientist/biologist studies requiring knowledge and application of basic principles under close supervision.
·Conduct research to support field evaluation and environmental documentation.
·Assist with wetland delineation, habitat assessment, and protected species surveys.
·Assist with preparation of survey reports and permits.
·Candidate must be currently enrolled in at least their Junior year in scientific discipline (e.g. biology, environmental science, ecology, botany) curriculum.
·Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills.
·Ability to effectively interface with all levels of personnel and management.
·Ability to work and thrive in a team environment.
·Strong problem solving skills.
·Ability to self-motivate and work productively with minimal supervision.
·Working knowledge of Word, Excel.
·Excellent oral and written communication skills.
·Proficiency with ArcMap is desired
